Edinburgh star to hit LSL in December

It’s an absolute pleasure to announce that poet, comedian and all round artist Rob Auton is to perform at the first Listen Softly London in December.Rob won the award for ‘funniest joke at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival’ this year and is part of the team that runs the excellent Bang Said the Gun stand up poetry night.

Rob has been performing his unique brand of stand up poetry since 2008 and Sheffield’s finest, Jarvis Cocker, recognised his talent and played Rob’s poetry on the radio and his work has appeared on Channel 4.

Come and watch, and be truly entertained, by someone who has seemingly ceased to be a rising star and instead taken a barrel load of cement and a torch and stands as a concrete, torch-wielding, shining beacon of what live poetry and comedy has to offer.

The first Listen Softly London is taking place at The Good Ship, Kilburn, on Wednesday 11 December 2013 and you can find more details about who else is performing on the LSL website.

Tickets will cost £5 on the door.

All profits from this event will be split between the Maytree Sanctuary for the Suicidal and The Tope Project.
